History

Alpine Lumber Company was founded in Englewood, Colorado in 1963 with the simple goal of providing unparalleled service to Colorado's professional building community. That guiding philosophy has allowed Alpine to successfully expand throughout Colorado with facilities along the Front Range, in the Mountains, and on the Western Slope. We currently operate fifteen builder-oriented lumberyards, three Alpine Truss shops, three Alpine Millwork operations (prehung doors, windows, cabinets, and trim), three professional paint supply operations, a pre-built stair shop, Jobsite Services (pneumatic tools and fasteners), and Rocky Mountain Reload (rail-serviced material handling).

Alpine Lumber is 100% Employee owned and the pride of ownership is evident throughout all aspects of our operations. In an era of consolidations we have steadfastly maintained our independence and are confident in our ability to compete on any level.

Alpine Lumber employs an entrepreneurial approach to business and empowers each Manager with the freedom to tailor his or her operation and product mix to the local market in order to best serve the customer base, to quickly react to special needs, and to ultimately ensure success. Honesty, integrity and unimpeachable business ethics are paramount.
